Meet The Artist
Hi, my name is Lydia, and I am a contemporary mixed-media artist from the Berkshire area. My faith in God is the foundation of everything I create. I believe I’ve been called to pursue art with intention. Each piece I create is more than an artwork, it is an expression of my purpose and love of craftsmanship. Through texture, form and material I seek to create work that reflects excellence as well as beauty.
In this way my art becomes a vessel through which I express my creative skills putting together pieces that bring warmth, inspiration and a lasting sense of serenity to those who experience it. I thank God for his faithfulness throughout my life and career without him I am nothing and I ask him to continue to use me.

Artist Biography -Where it all began..

After being placed into care, I often found myself isolated, and in those quiet moments, I began exploring different creative outlets. One day, I picked up a pencil, and something just clicked. It felt as though it had always belonged in my hand. The drawing you see here was my first, and although I couldn’t have known where it would lead, something in me instinctively knew I was an artist.
Looking back, perhaps it was no coincidence. My grandfather was an artist too and I’d like to think that same creative spirit has been passed down through generations. Today I create with purpose and gratitude embracing the journey that lies ahead. This is only the beginning and I would be honoured to have you come along with me as each new chapter unfolds.
